We are Celebrating Doreen Mashika a Tanzanian designer with exemplary designs is the winner of the African Designers for Tomorrow (ADFT) competition.
The African Designers for Tomorrow was an initiative of FA254, established with the aim of promoting African designers to sell to the European Market.
The section was assessed by renown fashion household experts

The competition was stiff with a shortlist of other great designers namely

- Anthony Mulli

- Niku Channa
- Katungulu Mwendwa
- Lorna Abwonji
- Sisi King.
The African Designers for Tomorrow competition was in collaboration with Vogue Germany, eBay Fashion and ESMOD International Fashion School in Berlin.
Doreen Mashika as the winner will get to showcase her collection at the 2015 Berlin Fashion Week and also sell her designs exclusively at eBay.
With the gearing support for talent and expertise in the Fashion scene, emerging designers need to seize all opportunities and expand their knowledge in improving standards and quality of their designs.
